Edward Shen is the co-founder and COO of Yulore Technology, the world's largest phone number big data service provider. Founded in 2012, Yulore provides caller ID recognition and yellowpage services for smartphone brands including Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, etc, as well as security apps including Baidu and Tencent Security. Its service covers 1 Billion user base and receives 2.5 Billion requests per day, based on its 100 Million phone numbers of 80 Million businesses across China. Based on the accumulated recognition history, it developed a series of big data products for anti-fraud and risk analysis purposes for financial institutes. Its customers include banks and micro financing companies such as PaiPaiDai (NYSE: PPDF), Pintec, Cashbox, SPD Bank, and many more. Shen received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in Computer Science, both from National Taiwan University, as well as a master’s degree in media, arts and science from the MIT Media Lab.
