Qualcomm Innovate in Taiwan Challenge (QITC): QITC is an initiative by Qualcomm, run by its affiliate Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (QTI), that was started in 2019 to support the development of Taiwan’s ICT ecosystem by identifying and nurturing innovative, new small and medium-sized companies and products. This Qualcomm initiative aims to support the growth of Taiwanese startups in areas such as 5G, cellular connected IoT, machine learning, smart cities, and multimedia with Qualcomm’s mobile platforms and technologies.

Qualcomm and SparkLabs Taiwan started to collaborate in 2021, and the partnership was further deepened in 2022. SparkLabs Taiwan offered training sessions and workshops delivered by a lineup of top-notch speakers tailored for all the QITC 2022 shortlisted teams, covering a wide variety of topics including goal setting, product management, go-to-market, overseas expansion, fundraising, etc. SparkLabs Taiwan also provided the startup teams with customized coaching via one-on-one office hours and connected them with experienced and thoughtful mentors in Taiwan and abroad.
